Satterwhite Taddeo is seeking Virginia-licensed attorneys with up to 10 years of experience to join our team, focusing on medical malpractice and healthcare defense. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in litigation and trial work, with excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. We value candidates who demonstrate a record of academic and professional achievement, high energy, and a commitment to serving the healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in medical malpractice defense cases from inception through trial and appeal.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client defense.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents including motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Manage all aspects of case preparation, including depositions, expert witness coordination, and case strategy development.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic legal advice.
• Stay current with developments in medical malpractice law and related legal fields.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Virginia with a valid license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical malpractice defense or a related area of law preferred.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation and achieving favorable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to meet critical deadlines.
